Live blogging?

So, I decided to cruise around and read "insta-punditry" and figured, why not start with the grandfather blog, Instapundit itself? Like all firsts, I'm grateful for the innovation, and even more grateful that others developed the medium better.

At one point, Reynolds writes: "N.Z. BEAR IS LIVEBLOGGING TOO, and observes: "Not that this is a revelation, but thus far, it looks like this will be a draw. Both candidates are doing ok, no obvious gaffes, no big moments (yet). I don't see a lot of minds being changed by this...""

Now, maybe I'm the idiot here. But how on earth can you:
a) watch the debate
b) come up with and write insightful commentary on it
c) read blogs from people watching the debate
d) come up with commentary on their commentary
while
e) watching the debate

Maybe the man's a genius ("I don't have a TiVo, but I was typing it as he spoke").

Maybe he's a fool...
